Jubburbú Werø Kenvuski (né Kenvouski), famously known as Jubba, is a fictional character in the Mattselutogueish timeline of the Chillerverse franchise. He was created by Julius Borris on September 9, 2019, when Borris was filming his portrayal of the character and speaking in the Pre-Mattselutogueish language (formerly known as Juculogueish).

Background & Personality

Biography

Jubba was the son of Yannis Kenvouski and Barbara Jargalsaikhan, parents of Mattselutogueish and Mongolic origin. Facing the outbreak of World War II, the family immigrated to Brooklyn, New York, in April 1939.

Fractured Childhood and Trauma

The Kenvuski family was immediately strained: they left two older children, Michalangelo and Alexandria, in Europe, and shortly after arriving in the U.S., Barbara gave birth to a new son, Juisurisas. Driven by deep misgivings and private anxieties, Barbara soon fled, taking Jubba and Juisurisas to Lithuania. In a devastating act in 1945, she abandoned Juisurisas at a manor in Krokialaukis, consigning him to institutional care (Juisurisas was later freed at age 21 and became a famous folk singer).

Jubba and Barbara returned to the U.S. in January 1949, only to find that Yannis had vanished. They tracked him to West Goshen, Pennsylvania, where he died five days after they found him unconscious. Following Yannis's death, a desperate ritual performed by Barbara resulted in a mysterious spark striking Jubba’s forehead, which ignited a "restless, dark energy" that would shape his future.

Education and Early Career

Despite the trauma, Jubba sought order, graduating from B. Reed Henderson High School in 1953 and the University of Cincinnati in 1957. He immersed himself in history, law, and the arts, though his personal life remained guarded. He went on to become a meticulous, unyielding police officer.

Partnerships and Controversy

In 1958, Jubba married Danijela Manovska, a paranormal investigator and detective who shared his intensity. They had four children (Juculag, Cecilija, Clara, Nadija) and together led a massive humanitarian crusade across Europe, rescuing over fifty thousand children. However, their union ended in a tumultuous divorce in 1971 after Danijela falsely accused Jubba of killing his brother Juisurisas—an accusation that caused a media frenzy but was later debunked when Juisurisas was found alive.

Jubba later married Amelia Elyounoussi, with whom he had three more children (Jubburbú Jr., Juliana, and Anastasia), but his ambition and inner turmoil continued to fracture his family life.

Rise to Power and Dominion

The dark energy seeded by the ritual spark began to manifest as persistent, troubled dreams—visions of conquest and ruin that Jubba interpreted as "invitations." In the late 1970s, he abandoned his career to forge a new path, traveling across Scandinavia, Central, and Eastern Europe.

By the 1980s, Jubba's ambitions had crystallized into a chilling dominion. His rule was marked by unorthodox methods, terror, and the frantic graspings of a mind driven by shadow and obsession. His influence stretched across the continent, from Norway to the steppes, fueled by what his biography suggests was a chaotic, unnatural power. Jubba Kenvuski's life became a testament to his relentless will to reshape the world based on the tumultuous memories and dark forces that he carried.

Defeat, Imprisonment, and the Impossible Escape

Following his defeat by the 4 Heroic Matthowi in the late 1980s, Jubba's brief, brutal reign of dominion came to an end. On December 29, 1989, he was apprehended by UN police officers and swiftly transferred to a high-security prison in Bordeaux, France. His imprisonment was short-lived, lasting only 12 hours before he faced trial. The court quickly sentenced Jubba to death, with the execution scheduled for the next 24 hours.

The following day, however, the execution became a moment of terrifying infamy. Jubba was placed in the electric chair, but he survived ten attempts. Tapping into the dark energy that had long festered within him, Jubba managed to destroy the execution room and, by extension, wipe out the entire prison building.

Newspapers and television channels across France and Europe immediately declared a state of emergency, warning citizens to be vigilant against an attack by Jubba and his new, shadowy army, the Juculoslurgers.

The Bordeaux Broadcast and Temporal Shift

In 1991, two years after his escape, a major media event added to the legend of Jubba's power. An eerie video transmission suddenly interrupted television channels in France, suggesting Jubba was still living in Bordeaux. The broadcast was widely considered one of the scariest hijackings in world history, with many believing it was controlled by Jubba's supernatural abilities.

In a move that defied logic and science, Jubba later revealed he had invented a time machine. Yet, instead of using it to solidify his conquest, he chose a completely different path: he prioritized his family. Jubba traveled back to 1979, the year his original revolution against Scandinavia was beginning, to rewrite his personal history.

In this altered timeline, he traveled to the USA and reunited with his wife. While he originally had three children with her, the journey back in time allowed him to be present for the birth of two more: James and Albert. Though the time machine allowed him to change his external circumstances, the internal wounds remained; the nightmares that haunted him since his mother's ritual continued to plague his sleep.

Attempts at Normalcy

Jubba’s return to the past in 1979 allowed him a brief period of family routine, but his marriage with Amelia ultimately did not last. They were divorced on July 17, 1993. Following the separation, Jubba and four of his children (with the eldest remaining in college) eventually moved back to his quaint hometown of Padfield. He attempted to reconnect with his two eldest children and even sought to reconcile with his first wife, Danijela, but that attempt failed.

On December 6, 2008, Jubba married for a third time, to Annaisha Kazuko.

The Confession and Final Career

In 2009, Jubba reinvented himself as a public figure, launching a YouTube channel dedicated to therapy videos. This new platform served as a way for him to discuss complex topics, but it soon became the stage for a shocking revelation.

On February 12, 2011, while discussing psychopathy and perpetrator trauma in one of his videos, Jubba stated matter-of-factly that he had gone back in time to wipe out the memories of his empire. The claim instantly went viral, garnering 20 million views in one week and sparking widespread skepticism across the globe.

While the confession did not lead to his arrest, it cemented his fame. Jubba was interviewed by media outlets worldwide until 2013, focusing on the possibility of time travel. He leveraged this notoriety into a highly successful literary career, beginning with his first book, "Time Traveler: Value or Disvalue Your Life."

Jubba Kenvuski continued to write more books and produce videos, maintaining his unique public profile until his passing on December 1, 2019.
